Chill vibes for every space you care about.
Why choose LNP Electrical for Air Conditioning?
What to expect from your air conditioning installation
Your installation starts with a site inspection to assess your space, lifestyle needs, and switchboard capacity, followed by a clear, upfront quote. Once approved, we schedule the installation around your availability, with standard installs typically taking around four hours and more complex works assessed individually. On the day, our team completes all electrical and plumbing works, then tests and commissions the system to ensure it’s compliant, efficient, and ready to use. Secure payment options are provided via online invoice after handover.

Our licensed electricians install all major air conditioning brands, managing the full installation process from start to finish. We complete all required electrical and plumbing works in-house, ensuring every system is correctly sized, safely connected, and commissioned for efficient performance from day one. By following manufacturer requirements and current regulations, we deliver compliant, reliable installations built to last, giving clients confidence that their air conditioning solution is handled by one trusted team.
Preventative Maintenance for Commercial & Industrial Sites
Preventative air conditioning maintenance is essential for maintaining comfort, efficiency, and reliability in commercial and industrial environments. We work with businesses to regularly inspect, service, and test air conditioning systems to identify wear, performance issues, and potential faults before they lead to breakdowns. This proactive approach helps reduce unexpected downtime, maintain consistent climate control, improve energy efficiency, and extend the service life of critical air conditioning assets in demanding operating conditions.
Delivering Reliable Air Conditioning
Solutions
Our approach focuses on long-term comfort and reliability, not just the installation itself. We take time to understand how each space is used and recommend systems that balance performance, efficiency, and durability. Every installation is completed with neat workmanship and full compliance with electrical and plumbing requirements. Beyond installation, we offer ongoing servicing and support to help maintain performance, reduce unexpected issues, and ensure your air conditioning system continues to operate efficiently, reliably, and comfortably over its full service life cycle.

2.5kW
A 2.5 kW split system is ideal for smaller rooms with good insulation and minimal heat load. It typically suits spaces such as bedrooms, small home offices, nurseries or compact studies. In well insulated homes with shaded windows, a 2.5 kW unit can comfortably cool rooms up to roughly 10–20 m².

If the room has poor insulation, high ceilings, lots of direct sun, or large windows, you may need to move up to the next size. Factors like room construction, glazing, layout and sunlight exposure can make a big difference to performance.
3.5kW
A 3.5 kW split system is a good fit for medium-sized rooms that need reliable cooling throughout the day. It typically suits living areas, larger bedrooms, small lounge rooms, or open studies. In well insulated spaces with limited direct sun, a 3.5 kW unit is generally suitable for rooms around 20–30 m².

If the room has poor insulation, high sun exposure, big windows, or an open layout, you may need to consider the next size up to maintain comfort.
5.0kW
A 5.0 kW split system is ideal for larger rooms or areas where multiple factors increase heat load. It’s well suited to medium-to-large living rooms, open plan spaces, dining areas, and connected kitchen zones. In well insulated homes with moderate sun exposure, a 5.0 kW unit generally suits rooms around 30–45 m².

If the area has poor insulation, large north or west facing windows, high ceilings, or an open layout that flows into other rooms, you may need to consider moving to a higher capacity.
7.1kW
A 7.1 kW split system is designed for large, open spaces that need strong, consistent cooling. It’s ideal for open-plan living areas, combined lounge and dining rooms, large family rooms, or spaces with high ceilings. In well insulated homes with moderate sun exposure, a 7.1 kW unit typically suits areas around 45–60 m².

If the space has poor insulation, extensive glazing, strong afternoon sun, or flows into adjoining rooms, you may need to consider an even larger capacity for reliable comfort.
8.0kW
An 8.0 kW split system is built for very large or open plan areas that experience high heat load. It’s suited to expansive living rooms, combined kitchen/dining spaces, large family zones, or homes with wide, open layouts. In well insulated homes with moderate sun exposure, an 8.0 kW unit typically suits spaces around 60–75 m².

If the area has poor insulation, lots of west facing windows, high ceilings, or multiple adjoining rooms without doors, you may need to look at an even larger capacity or a multi-head solution.
9.5kW
A 9.5 kW split system is designed for very large, open spaces that need powerful cooling throughout the hottest days. It’s ideal for expansive open plan living areas, large combined kitchen/dining zones, wide family rooms, or homes with big voids and high ceilings. In well insulated spaces with moderate sun exposure, a 9.5 kW unit typically suits areas around 75–95 m².

If the space has poor insulation, large west facing windows, high heat load, or flows into multiple adjoining rooms, you may need to consider a higher capacity or a multi-head or ducted solution.
