LNP Electrical is a commercial electrical contractor based in Kilmore, working with builders, business owners and facility managers across the Mitchell Shire and wider Victoria. Since 2018 we've handled everything from shop, office and hospitality fit outs to switchboards, lighting, data and comms, backup power and programmed maintenance, for sites as varied as pubs, schools, warehouses and industrial facilities. Every job is done by licensed electricians (REC 28533, VBA 120111), covered by professional indemnity, public liability and WorkCover, and finished to standard with the certification and reports your project needs. Lighting design and upgrades
Commercial lighting that cuts running costs and keeps sites compliant. We design and upgrade lighting across offices, warehouses, schools, halls and hospitality, from LED retrofits and highbay replacements to emergency and exit lighting. Lower power bills, better light levels, and one team handling both the design and the install.
Power, TV and Data
The power and connectivity your business runs on. We install and upgrade commercial power, from dedicated machinery circuits and three-phase supply to structured data cabling, comms racks, patch panels and screens for offices and meeting rooms. Everything's run neatly, labelled and tested, so your equipment, network and phones just work.
Switchboard upgrades and compliance inspections
Keep your site safe, compliant and running. We upgrade commercial switchboards and distribution boards, and handle the compliance work businesses need, including RCD testing, thermal imaging scans for insurers, and switchboard safety inspections. You get the reports and certificates for your records, and faults picked up before shut down.
Temp Power and Light
Safe, compliant power on site before the mains go in. We supply and install temporary builder's power and site lighting for construction and development sites, from temp boards and distribution through to lighting that keeps crews working and the site safe. Set up to standard, and looked after right up to the permanent connection.
Back Up Power
Keep the lights on and the business running when the grid drops out. We supply, install and connect backup generators for commercial and rural sites, from changeover switches to hardwired standby units, all wired into your switchboard and tested so they take over safely. Worth having anywhere an outage means lost stock, downtime, or a site that just can't stop.
Split System Air Conditioning
Reliable heating and cooling for the spaces your people work in. We supply, install and size split systems for offices, shops, staffrooms and community sites, matched to the room so they perform without blowing out the power bill. We also service and maintain existing systems, including whole fleets across schools and multi-room sites, with servicing reports for your records
Routine Maintenance
Stay ahead of problems instead of reacting to them. We set up scheduled electrical maintenance for commercial and community sites, single or multiple locations, covering the safety checks you're required to keep on top of: RCD testing, exit and emergency light testing, test and tag, and switchboard thermal scans. You get the reports and certificates for your records, and faults picked up before they cause downtime. It's the kind of arrangement we already run for schools and multi-site clients across the Shire.
EV Charging
Charging infrastructure for workplaces, fleets and customer car parks. We install and upgrade commercial EV chargers, from a single unit for the company car through to multiple bays, with the switchboard capacity and load management to run them safely. Set up with room to add more as your fleet grows.
Electrical Design
Electrical plans and design, done in-house. For new builds, fit-outs and upgrades, we can design the electrical layout and produce the plans your project needs, working from your drawings or scope. We carry professional indemnity insurance on our design work, along with public liability and WorkCover, so builders and businesses can put us on the job knowing the cover's all in place.

Sydney Street Doctors
Kilmore, VIC
When IG Constructions needed an electrical contractor for the fit out of the Kilmore Sydney Street Medical Centre, they brought us in to handle the lot. Working to the builder's program and site access, we delivered the full electrical fit out in stages: power and lighting throughout, emergency and exit lighting, and dedicated points for consult and treatment rooms, right down to power for equipment like the X-ray viewers.
A medical centre can't afford electrical that isn't compliant, so everything was installed to standard, tested, inspected and certified. It's a local Kilmore project we're proud of.
Commercial Partnerships
Most of our commercial work comes from people we've worked with before. We've built long-running partnerships with builders like Ascent Building Group, IG Constructions and Patto Construction Group, and we look after the electrical at Broadford Primary, Pyalong Primary and St Mary's Primary in Lancefield across dozens of jobs each.
